Vertu Constellation Pure, luxury cell phones with ceramic keypad

I’m sure you’ve all heard about Vertu, which is a subsidiary of Nokia, specialized in manufacturing luxury cell phones for the born rich people from all over the globe. You’ve all heard about it, but I’m not sure how many of you ever had the chance to have a Vertu handset of their own. I, for one, don’t care very much about these expensive handsets, so I’m not very eager to know about the latest trends, but probably you are.

So here we go. Vertu has just announced a brand new line of expensive devices, which is called the Vertu Constellation Pure, a line of luxury cell phones that seem to defy the financial crisis the whole world is facing these days.
The latest Vertu collection comes in four different color versions that include: Pure White, Pure Black, Pure Silver and Pure Chocolate. They are all made of materials like steel, leather and ceramics, but the most important aspect consists of the fact that the keypad and the earpiece are entirely made of ceramic materials. Rumors said that it took approximately two years for the Vertu designers to create this ceramic that looks unbelievably great.

The bad thing is that the company didn’t unveil the list features of this new collection, but we expect them to come at least with the features that the previous Vertu cell phones were equipped with.
Two models of the collection, the White and the Black versions, are expected to become available starting March 1st, while the other two, the Silver and the Chocolate ones, will start selling in sometime in September.
Unfortunately, only 2,500 units of each color will hit the market, under an estimated price of approximately €6,800 (meaning $8,560).
