Why Battery Drains Twitter

Why the battery drains when using Twitter and Facebook on BlackBerry mobile phones? Well, it is quite simple actually, it is because the internet connection. Twitter and Facebook are social network platforms and in order to launch them on your mobile phone, you need to have internet connection.

This can be done through Wi-Fi or an internet services from your carrier. But nevertheless, when browsing the internet and accessing web pages, the battery is drained faster, because you are not managing basic tasks, you are doing traffic over the internet and this will consume resources. Twitter and Facebook can’t be used unless access the internet. The more you stay on these social networks and the more tasks you do, such as load pages and pictures, post videos, write comments, send messages and so, the battery will drain faster.

You can take into account buying an extra battery to have close-by. When the one inside your phone drains completely and you are far from being home or at the office to charge it, you can grab the replacement battery and you can have your phone powered and working again. Batteries for BlackBerry phones are not expensive and you can find them easily for purchase. Just make sure you buy them from original retailers and shops with phone accessories, so you get the most out of the battery and it does not drain after just a couple of hours. The battery life inside your phone depends on the type of phone you have. In case you have a full-touch screen headset with GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, internet access and you use all these features on a regular day, the battery will not hold on for a long time. Take for instance Blackberry Torch 9800; it has a rated battery life of 5.5 hours in talk time and up to 17 days in stand-by. With moderate use, such as web browsing, video and music playback and e-mailing, the phone will last more than a day before you need to charge it again. This is because it is a touch screen and the features inside, plus the large display, bright and colorful, will consume lots of resources. In order to make sure your phone stays connected to the internet and you do have battery to be able to use the headset, you can buy some extra accessories that will help you charge your phone while you are away from a power supply. You can get a car charger in case you are a driver and you can plug your phone to the cigarette lighter and have it charged in a couple of moments. It is a very useful accessory and you will see how it can save the day and keep you mobile active. A battery charging pod is also very useful and it will hold your BlackBerry phone in place, but you have to get the power supply separately, it can be the travel charger or the vehicle power adapter.

Other things you can do to make sure the battery will hold for a little longer would be to make sure you turn off Wi-Fi after you are done using it. If you leave it on, it will just consume the battery for no point. Also, “kill” the running applications and don’t leave them sit there launched. You can do these and others to hold tight to the battery whenever you are spending too much time on Facebook and Twitter.

Well this is true fact that, battery discharged quickly when we use these applications. I guess new innovation is needed so that application battery usage should be reduced when user is not using phone.

I mean these application should be in idle position or should be disconnected and hence processing power and battery life will be more.

People nowadays installed too many applications in their cellphone, thus slow down the speed of the phone.
