ZTE C78 and ZTE C79
Posted by: Sierra in ZTE

The ZTE C88 clamshell cell phone must have been a success in US for the Chinese company as it has just announced the releasing of two new multimedia AWS handsets.
C88 is a low-cost entry-level cell phone available at $140 featuring a backlight keyboard, expandable memory, a 2-inch display, built-in camera, Bluetooth, Internet browsing, Instant Messaging, the popular Sudoku game and no less than 80MB of internal memory.
ZTE C78 and ZTE C79 are music phones that operate on the AWS frequency bands besides PCS and Cellular bands, enabling access to next generation voice, data and multimedia applications.
We don’t have high-resolution pictures with the models at this time but what you see in the pictures is the C79 model published on the Federal Communications Commission website.

This cell phone has MP3 player, a decent built-in 1.3MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, a 2-inch display and microSD support, while the C78 is a candybar cell phone featuring VGA camera, multimedia messaging, Internet browser, handsfree and Bluetooth.
"With the recent availability of the new AWS spectrum, carriers now have the potential to provide expanded wireless services to U.S. customers. Selecting the right device is a key to bringing the benefits of the new spectrum to life for end-users," says Dr. George Sun, CEO of ZTE USA. "Our new handsets allow U.S. carriers, both large and small, to leverage the AWS spectrum and fully profit from their investments in the spectrum."
